Who Writes Our Content
Every article, practice-area page, and blog post on gelbandgelb.com is written or reviewed by a licensed attorney at Gelb & Gelb, P.C. Our attorneys are admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina, as well as before federal courts including the U.S. Supreme Court.
Our Review Process
New content on this site goes through the following steps before publication:
- Outline by an attorney. A licensed attorney from our firm outlines the article based on questions our clients ask, current D.C. and Maryland law, and our case experience.
- Drafting. The draft is written by an attorney or by a legal writer working under attorney supervision.
- Legal review. Managing Partner Roger K. Gelb, or a delegated senior attorney at the firm, reviews each article for legal accuracy, citation to primary sources, and alignment with current case law.
- Final approval and publication. Articles are published once approved by the reviewing attorney.
- Scheduled re-review. Practice-area pages and substantive legal articles are re-reviewed when relevant statutes, rules, or case law change.
Our Standards
- We cite primary legal sources such as the D.C. Code, Maryland Code, federal statutes, and reported case decisions wherever possible.
- We cite primary statistical sources, including the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the D.C. Department of Transportation, the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, and the CDC, for any data we publish.
- We clearly distinguish general legal information from legal advice. Nothing on this website creates an attorney-client relationship.
- We never guarantee outcomes. Prior results do not predict future results, and every case turns on its specific facts.
- When the law changes or our prior content becomes inaccurate, we update the affected pages.
Corrections Policy
If you find an inaccuracy on any of our pages, please contact us with the URL and a brief description of the issue. We review every report and correct verified errors promptly.
