NFL Thanksgiving Grocery Giveaway with Laremy Tunsil

While we primarily handle DC and Maryland car accidents, we have chosen to give back to the community that we have been a part of for over 70 years. Accordingly, for the first time, alongside Washington Commanders star Laremy Tunsil, we are providing food to as many low-income families as we can for Thanksgiving. Our goal is to feed 500 families, which translates to over 1,000 people, with a turkey and groceries to last them a week. We will do this by funding the event and bringing together professional athletes, community leaders, and local partners. Events like this do more than provide food for arguably the best holiday of the year. They create a sense of community, dignity, and celebration for families who may be struggling during the holiday season.

What to Expect at The Event

• Receiving groceries and meals for the holiday. Every family will leave with food to prepare a Thanksgiving meal, helping ensure the season is filled with comfort.
• Meeting NFL star Laremy Tunsil and other athletes. Guests will have the chance to interact with professional players who are committed to giving back. Laremy is a five-time Pro Bowler and starting left tackle for the Washington Commanders. Since making the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2016, he has been one of the best offensive tackles in the league.
• Joining a raffle sponsored by Gelb & Gelb, P.C. Attendees can enter for the opportunity to win a prize.
• Connecting with our attorneys. Members of our team will be on hand to greet families, answer questions, and share how we support the community both inside and outside the courtroom.
• Enjoying a welcoming holiday atmosphere. The event is designed to bring people together in a spirit of generosity and celebration.
